DUSLA selected as the "Student Organization of the Month for June 2007"

DUSLA was selected by the Office of Campus Activities for the following reasons:

"
Reason 1:  The Drexel Student Chapter of Special Libraries Association (DUSLA) has been providing ongoing quality programs and events throughout the entire academic year.  Recently they were recognized by the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Philadelphia Chapter for Leadership.

Reason 2:  In addition, DUSLA won the 2007 SLA SAAAC Merit Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Student Group.  This honor was awarded at the June 2007 SLA national conference in Denver, Colorado.

In honor of this selection, DUSLA will be listed as the "Student Organization of the Month, June 2007" on a plaque in the Creese Student Center in the Greenawalt Student Development Center.  DUSLA will also appear in a paid advertisement announcing this honor in an upcoming edition of The Triangle.
