Basic Legal Research Class Offered by the Greater Philadelphia Law Library Association
The Greater Philadelphia Law Library Association (GPLLA) will offer its basic legal research class this spring starting on February 23, 2006 and continuing for six additional weeks until April 6. The class will meet at Jenkins Law Library, every Thursday evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The cost for the course is $225 and includes the text. Enrollment is limited to 20 persons. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Lexis and Westlaw, we are able to continue to offer the course at the 2005 price.

Applicants interested in holding a place in the course should send a check in the amount of $225, made payable to “GPLLA”, to Timothy at the below address. NFAIS Annual Conference:
Where: Ritz Carlton Hotel, Philadelphia, PA

NFAIS is seeking volunteers to assist at their 2006 Annual
Conference scheduled for February 26 – 28, 2006 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.  The following help is needed:

Registration desk support on Sunday, February 26th  from 1:00pm –5:00pm; Monday, February 27th,  from 8:00am – 5:00pm; and Tuesday, February 28th from 8:00am – 12:00pm 
Meeting room assistance to circulate microphones for Q&A on each of the three days
Newsletter support:  a summary of the content of each day's
sessions (samples will be provided)

Those who assist on any given day are invited to attend all sessions of interest on the remaining days.
