The WebNet Project

The WebNet Project began as part of a grant to L3D from ARPA to explore the design of Useful and Usable (U&U) systems. You can read about the U&U grant.

The PI for the U&U grant is Gerhard Fischer. The current co-managers are Jonathan Ostwald and Gerry Stahl. The email repository is part of a doctoral dissertation by Stefanie Lindstaedt. The LAN Design Environment simulation was largely developed as part of a masters thesis by Jay Smith.
