Welcome to The iSchool at Drexel. Our goal is to advance the information field (iField) through teaching and research — integrating its human, social, and technological aspects.

Our students receive a first-rate education in the development and operation of information systems, services, and products, as well as the human context in which these systems operate. We offer the following degrees:

Service

We contribute to the growth and development of the information professions through programs like co-operative business partnerships, outreach, and our founding membership in The I-School Caucus, an exclusive alliance of colleges dedicated to teaching and learning about information use and management.

 

 

Through coursework and real-world experience, iSchool students prepare for careers in the iField. The iField empowers people in all other fields to create, find, store, manipulate and share information in useful forms. Through an iSchool education, students are able to deliver the right information at the right time to the right people in the right form, making sure our world is not inundated by information overoad, but rather emancipated by information access.
